Why should I go to Global Health Conference?
GHC is the intersection of academics, socials and festivals in a once-in-a-med-school opportunity. Our theme for GHC24 is ‘Inception’, in which we invite our 500+ national delegates (yes, you) to delve into the intersections between ourselves, societies and systems and ultimately, inspire you to transcend these levels to become current and emerging agents of change.

Where do I stay?
We warmly welcome you to Adelaide/Tarntanya as your home for GHC24. For delegates, accommodation will be provided and available for purchase. Adelaide and our conference venue are all accessible by public transport. If you are non-accomodated delegate, there are many hotels available in Adelaide!

Do I need prior experience with GHC?
Inception is the starting point; of change in self, society or system. whether you are an amateur or a GHC-veteran, there are avenues for new learning, connections and change-making.

Why AMSA?
AMSA is the peak representative body of Australia's 18,000+ medical students, for whom it seeks to inform, connect and represent.
AMSA provides a whole different experience to medical school events. Not only are they national events, but they create a safe, inclusive and the fun environment only an event hosted by medical students, for medical students, can provide.
